A Carter Lumber National Accounts Millwork Specialist is responsible for driving the sales of Exterior and Interior Doors and Millwork with our national builder partners. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the millwork industry and demonstrate a proven ability to establish and grow relationships with clients, ensuring long-term business success. A strong belief in the mission and goals of Carter Lumber is essential for success in this position. This position is remote with the ability to travel when needed.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in selling Exterior and Interior Doors and Millwork.
  • Strong understanding of the millwork industry and its key players, particularly within national building partnerships.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and develop lasting customer relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Remote position with 50% travel required; applicants must reside on the East Coast of the United States to ensure proximity to key locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the market presence and sales of Exterior and Interior Doors and Millwork.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national builder partners, industry stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product delivery, customer satisfaction, and successful project execution.
  • Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and tailor solutions effectively.
  • Travel extensively (approximately 50%) to meet with clients, attend industry events, and provide hands-on support to builder partners.
  • Continuously expand industry knowledge and stay informed about innovations and developments in the millwork sector.
