Window Service Coordinator

Overview:  The Window Service Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of all aspects of our window service program in a market.  They receive request from our employees or builders to provide service for window installations done by Carter Lumber. They are responsible for scheduling the labor to make the repairs and working with our vendors to ensure the required materials are available at the time of service. The ability to understand processes, communicate effectively and ensure every box is checked are vital for the success of this position.

Requirements to be Considered for the Position:

  • Ability to prioritize daily responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel

Responsibilities of the Position:

Program Coordination

  • Coordinates the scheduling of all aspects of repair services with our builder customers and the service professionals who are performing the work.

Field Support

  • Receives service requests from the field and triages the requests based on the warranty status of the installation. Clear communication with field representatives is a must.

Vendor Coordination

  • Works with our window vendors to order required parts track delivery dates to ensure timely delivery for scheduled service dates. Also, coordinates with vendors to submit reimbursement requests and ensure payment is received.


  • Maintains a service log to track all service activity, by location, for using in reporting.
